No you can't become a singer.....with software.

 


Today woke up early.......when I was downloading a small music software utility ,an ad popped up on that site.......instantly become a singer.....(with a pitch correction plugin) There is this myth a major misconception doing rounds that with technology you can make anybody sing,become artists,or people are using various products to compose music or for various fake creations be it photoshop or film editing and things have become easy......actually that's not true......it is such a misleading misconception,in fact all these plugins and virtual correction softwares are made for tweaking here and there not to be applied to the whole creation.....the moment someone tries to do that he is in great problem,for eg.in a song every note is sung in relation to the previous note and following note...if you change one you do feel the need to tweak the previous or the following note too......and even if you do that ,the next morning when you wake up and listen to it you realize something is wrong somewhere and you again sit with hammer and plier and that becomes unending ,nothing can make a bad take seem like a good one ever........period....and it is never even half as good as you would have got re dubbing it......till date I have not heard a single off key singer seem like a good singer after all the manipulation ....this is the reason why artists who stick to Riyaz than gimmickry overtake in the long run even in this era of softwares......  so you can become artists by using machines , not when machines use you....
