Wish you a dirty birthday....

Goodmorning , just a thought , most of us don't know here why we cut cakes or light candles on birthdays, and blow them ,since childhood we saw people doing it so we started doing it, then we saw some people in a crowd giving birthday bumps ,we started doing it, we don't know any third line of the birthday anthem since childhood because we never heard any so we started singing what they sang,we really don't know how,why and what to do,so we do it ,may be the shortcut is become the part of the crowd. Then gradually came the trend of putting cake on the face of the birthday person and his/her hair and clothes. What sadistic pleasure is there in spoiling someone's face and hair and make up and birthday dress ? is it our instinct as a human being or we can't help copying what we have seen someone do just because it is not from our culture we don't know why and what for.It spoils the entire moment, just because we don't know what more to do, we just do it,now instead of wishing a person and admiring his dressing up for his birthday we are pouncing on him with cake chocolate and cream all over his body, this is what we call wishing ?

Not many like it , I am sure but no one wants to be left behind in following the new ritual . Why do we have to wish someone by causing him so much discomfort ? The person has to leave the place for a long time for cleaning his/her dress and hair and face and then everybody in their late 30's and 40's jump and clap and howl like a 4 year old , and now people have started doing it to guests also, everybody is so uneasy with all that cream till you go home and take a shower, sometimes really avoid standing in that place just to avoid this....this is not done yaar. Here several children have not tasted a cake in their life and here cakes lie on the floor sticking to the shoes, what dirty mindless customs we develop sometimes,a friend today has a swollen eye after someone just stuffed that cream in his eye,Happy Birthday yaar ,ab aise hi manti hain birthdays yahan.
